Everything You Need to Know Before Booking Your Dream Boat Ride
With its breathtaking coastline, lavish lifestyle and world-class marinas, Dubai is one of the top places to cruise with a private yacht! Whether you are celebrating your birthday, a romantic cruise or corporate event, there is a wide variety of charter options. If you are not familiar with the boat hire packages offered in Dubai, it can be overwhelming deciding the right yacht hire in Dubai.
To help you make informed decisions, here is an all-encompassing guide as to yacht charter packages in Dubai — what they consist of, the differences, and which package will be right for you.
- What Is Included in a Standard Yacht Charter Package?
Most yacht charter companies in Dubai offer all-inclusive packages including the following:
Captain and Crew: All professional staff onboard to navigate and serve you.
Fuel: This is usually covered so long as you stay on standard routes within Dubai such as Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab.
Soft Drinks and Water: You will have an included beverage service to keep you cool and hydrated.
Music System: Bluetooth-enabled speakers for onboard entertainment
Basic Amenities: There will be an air conditioned cabin, restroom facilities and shaded deck areas.
Having these packages means you can enjoy a seamless, safe and comfortable time out on the water.
- Types of Yacht Charter Packages Available
When looking for boat hire in Dubai, you will find various yacht charter packages for specific events.
Hourly Charters: Suitable for a leisurely day of sightseeing, or a quick get away, or a short celebration.
Half-day Cruises (4 Hours): Great for family gatherings, birthday parties or small events.
Full-day Rentals (8 hours): Ideal for corporate events, fishing trips or full-day leisure.
Sunset & Dinner Cruises: These romantic evenings include dinner as well as stunningly scenic views.
Party Packages: Some include DJs, live entertainment, catering and decorations.
Each package is customisable based on the number of guests, size of the yacht, and type of event.
- Optional Add-Ons and Upgrades
When you hire a yacht for your experience, you can customize your time on the water by choosing optional services or upgrades offered by the yacht charter company. These do not come standard with the yacht hire package, include:
Gourmet catering or BBQ
Live DJ or musicians
Balloons, decorations, or florals
Photographers or videographers
Fishing gear or water toys
These add-ons may come at an extra cost but can take your yacht experience to the next level.
- How to Choose the Right Package
When choosing your package, you want to clarify:
– Group Size: Ensure the yacht has enough capacity (and space) for every participant’s comfort.
– Purpose of the Trip: Is it a casual day at sea, a formal event, or a themed celebration?
– Budget: You need to decide on a budget, and what are you willing to include in your all-inclusive package.
– Time of Day: Morning cruises allow for silent nature seeking, while evenings allow for sunset views and city lights.
